TNPSC exam or Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission exam is the name of the exam through which recruitments to government jobs in Tamil Nadu are made. The syllabus of this exam is according to the degree and qualification of the candidate. Some of the papers are also specific to the posts to which recruitments are made.
The Syllabus for TNPSC includes the subjects General Knowledge, General Tamil, General English, subjects from Post Graduate Degree Standard, Degree Standard, Diploma Standard, Certificate Course, Intermediate Standard, HSC Standard and SSLC Standard. Moreover, there is a paper on Law for recruitment to Group-I B and Group VII A service. There are also papers specific to the posts of Civil Judge and Assistant Public Prosecutor Grade II. There are certain Medical Specialty subjects as well. In addition to that there is one miscellaneous paper too.
For Post Graduate qualifications, there are four papers for General Knowledge an objective paper on General Knowledge, another descriptive paper for main exam, and paper-I and II which are respectively objective and descriptive papers.
